Here is Ed Bergenholtz figuring out some numbers for the gearing and making sure the tune is right on target! Since the new track layout has been extended in the infield of Irwindale Speedway, the team is taking extra measures to provide the perfect gear ratio. Necessary adjustments were noted and looks like we'll have the perfect formula to ace this new configuration! It's amazing how much knowledge Ed has with the MoTec M800/computers!
In running a great race program it takes a lot of organizing and preparing all sorts of different duties... Here's Ron and the team maintaining the trailer.
Ron aims for perfection when working on anything he touches. Even when applying vinyl on the Nitto Tire Mazda RX-8 he brings out his precision measuring caliper. I had a blast driving the vehicle for a quick and short practice session. We ending up getting a lot of useful data and will have the vehicle ready for battle in the Finale!
